-het eten wat Hooters aanbied word nog niet veel aangeboden in Nederland wat een kans bied voor dit concept
NIET
-Nederlandse meisjes zijn niet bereid om een dergelijke baan als serveerster te doen. (slecht voor imago)

We choose for the Hooters concept because we wanted to experience the Hooters concept in real life. We have heard and seen Hooters in so much movies and during our summer course it is the perfect time to check the concept in real life. Our main goal was to find out if the Hooters concept can be used in the Netherlands.
To find a Hooters restaurant was quite simple. In Tempe there were 5 restaurant with 1 very close by our super 8 motel. We paid Hooters 4 visits on 2 different locations to get a good view of the concept (obviously we enjoyed our visits ;)). Besides our diner visits we interviewed the general manager of the Hooters in down town Tempe. We also wanted to interview the serving chicks but they were all too busy.
Summary
Hooters is a very popular concept in the US based on four main principles: nice atmosphere, good food, cold beer and hot waitresses. During our educational visits we have experienced and enjoyed these principles in real live. What Hooters makes unique from other restaurants is the service and the hot waitresses.
Conclusion
We think that the Hooters concept in the Netherlands might be a success because it offers a variety of food and service still unknown. There are no real competitors so Hooters might grow fast. However it is the question if the service offered in the US by the waitresses can be the same in the Netherlands. The waitresses try to give every customer a very personal. The main question is: can you find enough waitresses that are able for this kind of flirty job. We have had a long discussion as the Hooters group en we think it will be tough. Without the service level of the hot waitresses people will not really notice Hooters among the other fast food restaurants so therefore we conclude that the Hooters concept is not possible in the Netherlands.
